I have a topic!!

Me: So, do you like the new design of the blog? It's kind of ridiculous how long it took me to decide which one to keep...it was going to be red, then it was going to be dark green, then it was going to be multicolored but then I wanted the background to pop more and then--

Sage: Ok, ok, we get it, there were lots of choices and took you a long time to decide which one to go with.

Me: Oo! Also I added a poll off to the left side where you can vote how often I put up a post. Every other day, every week, or every week, or every month. Every other day could be difficult but doable. (I'd most likely miss a few days...but there would be more posts.) After a while I'll make the decision based on the results...don't know when yet. Ignore the 'days left to vote' because I'm just waiting until there are enough votes.

Naem: Are we going to get to the topic?

Me: Relax, I'm getting there. Also, I was wondering if you people like the tabs that link to the characters. I divided them up into stories because Blogger limits the number of pages to twenty and I have almost more than twenty characters. ;P I think I also might have to get rid of a few characters that are busy and don't have the time to come on...like Daerien (he has a job so he's rather busy), Draven (has an annoying habit to go on adventures and not come back for a while), Taeyin (she's spending time with her family and also is now going to school), and Alexis (isn't around very much because she's with my friend and also is rather quiet).

Sage: ...you need to change my picture.

Me: Why? I like that picture of you.

Sage: It doesn't fit anymore.

Me: Eh, I'll keep it for now but remind me of that later and I'll see if I can get a different one up.

Evrem: I like my new picture! Even though it doesn't really fit my personality, it works for me.

Ria: The outfit is totally you.

Evrem: Yep! Don't know why I have those handcuffs but whatever, it's cool.

Aerista: Kaeri might need a different picture too...

Me: Yeah...but I'll have to work on that later.

Naem: ...topic?

Me: Yes, I did come up with a topic.

Thallus: ...when?

Me: ...just today but at least I had a while to think about it.

Sage: And the topic is...?

Me: Cosplay!

Clayth: ...somehow I knew it was going to be that.

Me: No you didn't.

Claythar: ...yeah, I didn't.

Sage: I did.

Claytharien: Well you're at her house basically every day!

Jafen: ...that sounds a little creepy.

Sage: She's writing a story with me in it and I don't want her going too crazy. Once she's finished with this one I'm going on a long vacation.

Me: A well deserved one too.

Naem: Back to the topic. What is Cosplay?

Sage: If you stuck around, you would know. She was watching Cosplay videos for waaay too long earlier...it was really annoying because she gets into a weird mood.

Me: *ignores Sage* Cosplay...well it's basically dress-up but for teenagers and adults and they usually dress as certain characters from Anime shows.

Naem: Ok that's cool...but what's the point of it?

Me: To have fun! Some people just go all out and they look amazing while other people...well they should even try....

Sage: There are also conventions and things made for cosplayers. There are shows and stuff for people to show off their outfits.

Me: Of course, as cool as it is, you do have the not so good animes that people choose to cosplay from.

Ria: Like Princess Leia in the slave outfit...people do that one all the time. It's stupid.

Me: And there are always at least ten people dressed as Naturo running around...

Evrem: So cosplay is a thing you'd like to do, right?

Me: ...if I was able to get a few of my friends to do it with me, maybe. But I do really want a wig! Colored contacts would be awesome as well but that's a little unlikely...so I'm just going to look for wigs. :) I don't really care what color or anything but as long as it looks cool, I'm fine with it.

Aerista: The funny thing is, the people that cosplay are almost always girls.

Zeth: Well dress-up is a thing that's more for girls...

Me: But it looks better when guy characters are played by guys. Of course there are those certain girls who can look like guys...but it's just a little strange.

Sage: I assume you're going to post pictures of cosplays aren't you?

Me: Yep! I have to go find a few...let me see...I have to get one of Lalasosu's cosplays because she is amazing.

Sage: I knew you were going to pick her...

Me: Ok! Here we go:

Me: Yay! Ok so Lalasosu is Sebastian (person with black hair) in the last two.

Ria: ....she does look like a guy...

Me: Though you can still kinda tell that she's a girl.

Zeth: Sometimes guys look like girls if they try to do cosplay because of the makeup they have to wear to make themselves look more like the character...

Me: Yeah, that is true...

Ren: Do you know which animes those are from?

Me: Yep. Though, then again, it's not always of anime things. Sometimes people do characters from movies like Avengers, Star Wars, Blah-blah-blah. The top two pictures are from Naruto. The next one I believe is from Code Geass...I think...I'm not completely sure on that one because I haven't watched that show. The fourth is from Sword Art Online, then there's a vocaloid which is a whole different topic in itself, (not an anime), then the last two that Lalasosu did are from Kuroshitsuji (Black Bulter) which I have only watched one episode of.

Sage: Time's up.

Me: Ok, well just in time. :) So! Remember to vote for how long you want me to post, comment saying if you like the division of the tabs, and feel free to tell me what you think of Cosplay! See ya'll next week!

Story Mode!

Sage: What's with the title?

Me: Well I decided that I'm going to write today's post in third person like I do with almost all of my stories.

Thallus: Well this should be...interesting.

Evrem: But that kind of keeps us from voicing our opinions...

Me: Not really...well let's see how this goes. XP

Thallus: You might want to explain something first.

Me: Hmm? Oh! Yes, well no one can see my characters unless they (being my characters) want them to, and most of the time they prefer not to be seen so they're almost always with me, but always invisible. I can see them though, no matter if they're visible to others or not.

Thallus: Ok, write away.

Me: *grins* Here we go!

Silver, Sage, Thallus, Ash, Ren, Kaeri, Evrem, and Zeth were all sitting on black couches sitting along a long hall at Silver's co-op. Not many people walked by this area because it was farther back in the building they were in and most people were on the first floor in the room that was used as the study-room lunchroom. Silver enjoyed this place because it was quieter and easier to focus so it was easier to blog and write on her stories. Occasionally the people in charge of vacuuming would disrupt her, like now but after a while she was able to focus again. Sage was playing with a deck of cards and Evrem was attempting to steal them away from him, but he failed each time. Ash and Ren were standing over by the gray wall discussing something important while Silver and the others were attempting to start a conversation about something interesting to keep the blog alive.
"I can't think of a single thing to talk about!" Silver groaned.
Sage smirked and opened his mouth to say a cheeky comment but thought otherwise and closed it. Thallus was sitting as a phoenix on the back of the couch and thought for a moment, his head tilting slightly.
"Well...we could just do another grapevine conversation like we always do." He said thoughtfully.
"Yeah, but we do that almost all the time." Silver countered with a sigh. "I want to try something different but nothing's coming to mind."
Sage quickly snatched Evrem's wrist before he grabbed an ace of clubs and glanced up.
"Well you could give a brief update on what you've been writing."
Silver thought for a moment.
"I guess I have written a little on Melting Fire which is quite a surprise actually...I'm also getting a few good daydreams about it that could help me write it as well."
"But you've been mainly working on SM or Sealed Memories, right?" Zeth asked, bouncing a small ball against the wall and catching it.
"True...thought these passed two days I haven't been able to write anything at all."
"And that's your fault for getting distracted." Sage said.
"Yeah, yeah, I know." Silver pouted.
Kaeri was sleeping on the couch next to Silver and his ear twitched slightly in his sleep. Evrem smirked and started sneaking over to him but Sage grabbed the back of his shirt and jerked him back.
"Don't you think about it."
Evrem crossed his arms and sat down in one of the black leather chairs with a bit of a pout, watching Kaeri sleep happily.
"He always takes catnaps." Evrem muttered.
"Well he is a lot like a cat, so what do you expect?" Silver said, glancing at Kaeri with a smile and lightly petting his ears.
"You've never even had a cat, so how do you know what they act like?" Ash asked.
Silver paused for a moment.
"Well...I mostly just guess..."
The ball Zeth was bouncing, hit a garbage can and went while, bouncing all over the place and almost hitting Thallus. Sage quickly ducked to avoid getting hit but Evrem wasn't as fortunate as the ball smacked him in the shoulder. It kept on bouncing though. Silver let out a yelp as it just about hit her and watched as the ball continued to bounce like mad around the hall. It disappeared down the long hallway and Zeth grinned
"Oops..." He said.
"You totally did the on purpose." Evrem said, glaring at Zeth.
"What makes you say that?" Zeth said, putting on a innocent face.
Sage threw a pillow at him and Zeth quickly caught it, chuckling.
The ball suddenly came back and smacked Zeth on the head. Everyone began laughing then. Zeth rolled his eyes a little embarrassed but didn't say anything. Silver quickly glanced at her watch.
"We only have like twenty or fifteen minute left until we have to back up to leave...and I still can't think of anything..."
Silver paused for a moment before pulling out her iPod. Sage rolled his eyes and waited a little while before flinging a card at her and smacking her on the forehead.
"You're getting distracted." He said, shuffling the deck.
"Well I'm completely clueless as the what to write!" Silver complained.
"This is why you're supposed to think about it ahead of time." Thallus said.
"But my day is so busy..."
"Oh really? You watched YouTube for thirty minutes last night when you could have been thinking about what to talk about the next day." Ash said.
"You too?!" Silver exclaimed. "Why is everyone against me?!"
She then stopped and looked up at the ceiling, thinking.
"You know...it's about time that I gave the blog a makeover...I also need to redo all the profiles and make it so that I can fit in more if I need to."
Thallus shifted back into himself and sat on the arm of the couch.
"And I need my profile to be up there too." He said.
"True...uuuuuuuugh...why don't I do that next week!" She said, suddenly getting an idea.
Zeth was searching around for his ball but couldn't seem to find it.
"But that'll probably take you the entire hour, meaning that there wouldn't be time to write." Ren pointed out.
Silver nodded, tapping her chin thoughtfully.
"Yes, I know that so that means next week there won't be a post but I'll be completely giving the site a makeover and I'll look brand new! Ooo! I could even add a slide show or a collage!" Silver said, getting excited about the idea.
"Whoa there." Ash said, holding up a hand. "Don't go to crazy."
"Yeah, you do that enough." Sage said.
Silver rolled her eyes and calmed herself down.
"I guess I'm mixing my excitement for the formal tomorrow with redesigning the site." Silver said with a smile.
"You're not nervous about it?" Ren asked.
Silver gave a small laugh.
"Who said that I'm not nervous? I'm totally nervous...but I'm also a little excited. It better not be disappointing." She said slowly.
Sage glanced up at the clock and tapped his cards against his palm.
"Well times up." He said, slipping the cards into the case and standing up.
Silver glanced up at the clock, startled.
"What?! Already? Boy does time fly... Well, I'm going to have to remember to remodel the website next week. Sage, you remind me."
"I always remind you of stuff." He mumbled.
"That's because you're always so good at remembering."
Sage rolled his eyes but dropped the argument.
"Whatever, time to go pack up."
Silver got up and stretched.
"Ok."

Me: Yay! That was fun! So no post next week, but I'll be changing the site so you can stop by and see my progress if you want.

Sage: And if the background keeps changing as you refresh the page, you know why.

Me: Yeah...well Ja!

Melting Fire

Me: We're back! Sage agreed to to come back now because he's in a bit of a better mood.

Ash: And we don't have a topic do we?

Me: ...not completely though I thought that I'd just talk about my stories or something.

Sage: They'd probably also like to know that you named the sequel to Black Light finally.

Me: Oh yes! I'm calling it Melting Fire. *thinks for a moment* Mostly just because that name sounds really good but if you think about it, the meaning could be rather different...either the fire is melting something or the fire itself is being melted.

Ria: And then you have some people who could possible see 'fire' as like love or something and then it sounds like that feeling is melting away...it could have many meanings.

Ren: And you don't know exactly what the meaning is, right?

Me: Well...I have an idea...but I can't say what it is. ;P

Sage: ...I think I might know what it is...

Me: Of course you probably do but no one else does...besides Thallus.

Thallus: Yup.

Me: Well about Melting Fire...I only got the prologue and first chapter done before I hit a solid rock wall and couldn't think of anything to write.

Zeth: Wait, so you just stopped writing it?

Me: For now, yeah...I don't know when but hopefully soon, I'm going to set aside a bit of time and work out a small outline for it so it'll go a little faster.

Thallus: An outline for you is basically brainstorming tons of ideas and writing them down.

Me: ...kind of. I do put them in the order they need to go but often there are huge spaces between one thing and another.

Ash: So if you're not working on MF, what are you working on?

Me: Currently, I'm thinking about revising/editing The Night's Shadow because I quickly read over bits of it yesterday and realized how much I loved that story...though I might first work on the other story that I based off of an RPG that I made called The F.B.S. The RPG went on for over a year so I'm going to make it into like three books or something.

Sage: And the first book is called Sealed Memories.

Me: Yep! That one is waaaay easier to write because I know every single detail that is going to happen because the plot in the RPG has already been resolved. I'm just going to edit and take out a few things that aren't important or didn't work out.

Thallus: You even took out a full character from it, didn't you? Morgroh was his name.

Me: *nods* Yeah, he really didn't work out rather well and wasn't a major role in the story so he got deleted.

Sage: He was supposed to be the bully but he wasn't even that mean.

Me: I'm not very good at writing mean people...

Sage: ...define 'mean'.

Me: Like people that insult other and tease. I'm pretty good at writing cruel people but not mean...trust me, I really stick at insults. Like Carson; he's supposed to be a bully but he's just a boy with a really sad life and a bit of an anger issue. If he fixes that, he'd be a rather nice guy.

Slade: So you're not going to revise my story?

Me: I'll get to it eventually but I think I'm going to go back to what I used to do a while ago where I focused on up to three stories and decided which one I felt like writing that morning. I'll just switch back and forth between them when I feel like it.

Thallus: You tried to do that with The Lapis Scar and Silroe but you ended up just focusing on The Lapis Scar.

Me: Yeah...good point...but I'll try to be better this time. Both stories are easy to work on so it shouldn't take too long for me to finish one or the other. ...now that I think about it, Aerien, and The Lapis Scar need a  lot of work on them because the main idea does come in until near the end of the story.

Sage: It's the same with Black Light but that one is a little more structured and doesn't trail off into pointless things.

Me: I could almost make two short stories from the beginning of The Lapis Scar...

Zeth: Stay focused, you're only working on The Night's Shadow and Sealed Memories, ok? You can edit the others later.

Me: Yeah...and if I get the outline for Melting Fire, I'm going to work solely on that one and finish it quickly because it's going to be kind of a summery like The Apprentice of Evil was but slightly longer...

Ash: I was surprised that you were able to only do like twenty-something chapters...usually you always go beyond sixty and almost reach the hundreds in most cases.

Me: Aerien was really long...though I don't remember how long it is...my books are usually around 400 pages or so. I should check which one is the longest... *sighs* I'm kind of running out of things to say....

Ren: You mentioned that you were going to post a short story that you wrote if you ran out of space.

Me: I did, didn't I? ...I haven't edited any of them in the slightest so they're probably horrible. I have to find one first... Oh my goodness!! I found a small clip that I wrote that started the idea of The Night's Shadow! I actually used this idea in the story! At the time I was writing it, I didn't even have an idea that I was going to write an entire story about it so it's really funny. Apparently the girl's name is Arabella...which I changed a lot but I kept the idea name, Slade... *reading idea briefly* wait...whoa...huh?...*reads more and laughs* That's so weird! I named one of the girls in the idea, Sage! I keep forgetting that Sage can be a girl's name too. *keeps reading* I named another one Brook which I kept in The Night's Shadow but changed the spelling a bit. And I kept the name Bria as well. :) Whoa, I kept Blair's (Bria's sister) name too! This is so weird because I basically gave a brief summery of the story and this was even before I wrote it! Of course there were a few things that were different.

Sage: You had so many daydreams...and they are really weird.

Me: Hey! This was like three years ago, ok?

Ash: You have a weird obsession with violence...that and people getting captured and stuff.

Me: I need to work on writing short stories...these are like eight pages long...

Jafen: You could just pose the one with me, you, and Sage that you wrote a while ago.

Me: *blush* But that one was kind of weird...

Jafen: It's probably the shortest you have.

Me: *sighs* Ok fine....Oh and I like to name my daydreams but this one I didn't really feel creative so I just came up with Characters Meet Their Writer. Here it is: (Please excuse the horrible grammar and mistakes...)

The moment Sage opened his eyes he knew something was wrong. He jumped to his feet in an instant and glanced around. He was in some kind of metal room and from the looks of it there were no doors or windows. The moment he realized that his skin began to crawl and he quickly walked around the room his hand moving towards the knives on his belt involuntarily. Reluctantly he ran his hand along the wall and found it cold and firm. Quickly he inspected every wall but found it completely smooth. With a shout, he slammed his fist against it but nothing happened and his voice echoed around the room with no one to hear it. Taking a deep breath he allowed himself to slip down the wall to the ground and try to calm himself down. Sage turned to remember the last thing that happened but his mind was completely blank and the most recent thing he could remember was from a week ago but even that was fuzzy. He slowly took a deep breath and stood up. The good thing was he still had his sword strapped on his back and his belts with throwing knifes, darts, and needles on them. Sage carefully began examining the wall more closely but the results were the same as before. The only thing left to do was to wait… He had no idea how long had past when the wall suddenly rippled and vanished completely, showing a low dark hallway beyond. For a moment he didn’t move and stared cautiously at the opening before slowly edging out into the hall. The walls were metal like the room and he slowly wandered down them feeling even more on edge and alert than before.
His eyes darted all around the place scanning for anything and Sage suddenly detected a tiny noise, but it was so light he couldn’t make it out. Slowly he drew a small dagger and continued slowly slow the dim hallway. A flash of moment caught his attention but he made sure to show no signs of noticing it. He came to a three way part in the hall and was aware of something behind him so he turned the corner naturally and then quickly slipped back into the shadows and crouched there, hidden in the dark. The moment he saw the figure turn the corner he slipped out, intending to sneak up behind the person and put his dagger to their neck but his knife was quickly blocked by another blade. Sage swiftly drew his sword and noticed that the other figure was a boy of about his same age. For a split second they stared at each other before the other spun away and slipped out another dagger from his sleeve. Sage raised his sword quickly and blocked the swift strikes, before returning them quickly. He was able to tell that the other boy didn’t intend to harm him very much but they both were on edge and jumpy. The boy spun away and then too Sage’s surprise disappeared to be replaced to a raven which flew over his head and then changed back into the boy. Shape-shifter. Sage said, quickly flipping out of the way. A soft whizzing sound made him jerk back and he noticed two throwing needles embedded in the wall where he’d been just a moment before. He quickly snapped his attention back to the newcomer and then they were locked in combat again. Just as Sage and the other boy separated for a moment a girl suddenly rushed between them and held out her hands.
“Cut it out. Both of you.” She said, firmly.
Sage suddenly discovered that there was a force field keeping him from attacking the boy or the other girl so he slowly lowered his weapon, as the boy did the same.
“Who are you?” The boy asked, his dark green eyes flashing.
The girl lowered her arms and Sage felt the force field disappear.
“It’s going to take a long time to explain that.” She said slowly.
Slowly Sage looked at her more closely. She only looked about fifteen with long brown hair that seemed to have a tiny hint of golden-red in it and her eyes were a grey-green that had made her look completely human.
“There’s no need to fight; I know both of you are a little confused a freaked out about randomly appearing here and having no memory of it but you’re on the same side.” She said.
“How do you know about not remember how we got here?” Sage asked slowly.
The girl smiled slightly at him and he had a strange feeling that she reminded him of someone.
“Because I know a lot about you two, Sage.” She said.
He blinked and studied her closely.
“Where are we?” The other boy asked.
She looked over at him and then glanced around the room, placing her hand on the wall.
“I’m not so sure…but I have a bad feeling that someone is controlling this place. It was the same where you came from, right Jafen?” She asked.
“Yeah, but how do you know my name?” He asked. “What is your name anyways?”
“I have many names that people call me.” She said, removing her hand from the wall.
“So what can we call you?” Sage asked, slowly returning his sword to its sheath.
The girl though for a moment brushing her bangs out of her eye to the left like they normally were and smiled slightly.
“Either Silver or Assen. I prefer those names out of most of them. Phoenix would also work maybe.” She said.
“So how do you know our names, Assen?” Jafen asked, stepping more into the light so Sage could see him better.
His hair was black but there was a very slight tint of green in it that Sage only caught for a moment before it looked black again.
Silver smiled and sighed.
“You guys are never going to believe me, but before I tell you let’s get out of here.” She said.
“How?” Sage said, looking around at the metal walls.
Assen held out her hand to him.
“I have a special ring that a friend gave me, and it will teleport us out of here.”
Sage hesitated and eyed her suspiciously.
“You can trust me Sage. There’s no other way out of this place that I know of but we have to hurry before the person in charge finds out.” She said.
Slowly Sage reached out and took her hand. She smiled at him and then slipped her hand into Jafen’s. Taking a deep breath Phoenix closed her eyes and they were instantly pulled away, appearing in a forest. Sage felt his mind slowly being to clear but he still couldn’t remember any he could have gotten to that place. Silver stumbled forward and Sage tightened his grip on her hand to keep her up without thinking. She smiled gratefully at him and slowly sat down looking a little tired, letting go of Jafen and Sage’s hands. Jafen and Sage looked at each other for a moment.
“So…you’re a shape-shifter?” Sage asked.
“Half shape-shifter elf…half something else.” He said slightly uncomfortable.
“It’s ok Jafen; he doesn’t care if you’re half dark elf.” Silver said softly.
Jafen looked at her sharply.
“How do you know that?” He asked.
Assen slowly got to her feet and brushed off her black skinny jeans and green shirt.
“Like I said earlier: you’d never believe me.”
“I’ve heard a lot of crazy things.” Jafen said.
“I’m with him.” Sage agreed. “Try us.”
Phoenix allowed a smile to slowly spread across her face and she laughed quietly before looking at both of them for a while.
“Ok then. I’m your writer.” She said, crossing her arms.
Jafen and Sage exchanged a glance and then looked back at her confused.
“Wait…what? How does that work?” Jafen asked.
“I wrote your stories and brought you two to life. Both of you are just characters in one of my stories that I’ve written.”
“Then how can we be standing here?” Sage asked slowly.
“We’re in a world that I created and found the ability to jump into. It’s a combination of every one of my stories. If travel around this world you’ll be able to reach The Venroa Houses as well as Zender’s Castle. There are many other characters here but none of them have met…until you two found each other.” She explained slowly.
“So…you basically created all of us.” Jafen summoned up.
Silver nodded.
“You could think about it that way. The thing is…each of you has a small piece of me inside of you and that’s why we seem alike or familiar to one another. I know you almost as good as you know yourselves, but because I made this world, the characters began developing on their own so their personalities might have change slightly making them a little more unpredictable to me then before.” She said, leaning against a tree as she talked.
“That means in a way, you’re each one of your characters.” Sage said.
Phoenix nodded with a smile.
“You catch on quickly.” She said. “There are also a few characters in this world, who don’t have their own story but only existed in my mind. Claytharien is one of those few and he gave me the rings.”
Sage looked around the forest and mentally made note of where they were.
“So you’re a human?” Jafen asked.
Silver shrugged.
“Yeah, pretty much, but I do have a few tricks I can do. I think you could call me a Writer because I can do this.”
She pulled out a small notebook out of her back pocket and a pen. Quickly she scribbled something down and a boy suddenly appeared next to her whose hair was a slightly messy pale mint green and he wore a sport hat that was a dark purple with small blue lines down it. His eyes were a bright yellow that flashed in the sunlight and he looked around sixteen or so with clothes that looked more modern.
“Assen, please don’t tell me you did that because you wanted to.” He said with a sigh.
“Sage, Jafen, this is Claytharien. He goes by, Clay, Clayth, Claythar, and then his full name.” She said.
“How did you do that?” Jafen asked, in surprise.
“As a writer I learned that I can summon my characters if I write down their name on a paper. If I try hard enough I can also make other things happen but it takes a lot of my energy to do thing like that.” She said. “But enough about me, we still have a problem.”
“Why the person brought us to that place and who they are.” Sage finished for her.
Assen nodded and thought for a moment.
“I think someone might be able to use the abilities as a writer like I am.” She said meeting Sage’s eye. “That might mean that the characters in this world are no longer as safe as they were.”

Me: It's so long...

Sage: You enjoy bossing me around in stories sometimes.

Me: ...I do actually. ;) Ok! Well that makes the post long enough and I have to get going. See you'll next week!!

Guess What?

Me: Hey guys...I have some great news, and some bad news...

Ash: If you ask which one we want to hear first, the answer is rather obvious.

Thallus: I already know what both news is.

Evrem: What?

Thallus: She'll tell you soon enough.

Me: Well the great news is that I finished Black Light!! Yaaaaay!! *grins* It's my sixth book that finished! I really miss writing it but that's not the bad news...

Naem: Just tell us already!

Me: ...

Ash: Oh...I think I know...

Evrem: You guys are totally killing me.

Thallus: Look around the room.

Naem and Evrem: *glance around* Yeah, so?

Ash: *rolls eyes* Is someone missing?

Evrem: Well Jrey isn't here...

Naem: He hasn't been here for a while though... *gasps* Did he die or something?!

Me: No, nothing like that.

Naem: ...umm...Jafen's not here?

Evrem: Kaeri's sick but I don't think that's the bad news either.

Zeth: I can't believe how stupid you two can be sometimes...

Thallus: Sage isn't here.

Naem: Oooooohhhhh.

Evrem: *eyes widen* Did he die?!

Ash: No one died Evrem.

Evrem: ...well so what he's not here? Big deal!

Thallus: You haven't read the ending of Black Light, have you?

Evrem: ...no, but that has something to do with this, doesn't it?

Ash: Obviously...

Me: We can't say what happened because that's be a humongous spoiler...but Sage has been a little depressed lately because of the ending...

Thallus: You need to start the sequel soon.

Me: I know! But I can't figure out how to start if off...and that part is usually the easiest for me.

Thallus: At least this time you know a lot of what's going to happen this time, usually you have no clue at all.

Me: Yeah...once I figure out how to start it, I'm going to write it as fast as I can. It's not going to be quite as long as the others I've written, but there's a key thing I want to happen and that's the only reason I'm writing it. If I hadn't have that idea, the ending of Black Light would have been very different...of course then I'd have to change a lot of things...

Slade: You still haven't gotten around to revise/editing my story...or picking up the sequel.

Me: *sighs* Yeah I know...

Jafen: And mine still has to be completely rewritten...

Me: Yes, yes. I have a lot of work to do. That's why once I finish writing the sequel to Black Light, I'm going  to let Sage and the other characters in his books take a long well-deserved break while I work on/finish up other stories that I paused and finished.

Ash: You don't have a title for the sequel yet do you?

Me: ...not yet...I'm still trying to think the right one up...Something along the lines of The Emerald Flame but I want to change it to make it more intriguing.

Ren: Why Emerald Flame?

Me: That's a secret. ;) Oh! Another idea I had a while back was to post a few of my random scenes that I've written up over my process of writing. A few I'm definitely keeping to myself but there are some that are rather interesting. Most of the time I just get a random idea and have to write it down, so I do, but sometimes it's a little strange... *sighs* And this post is running a little short again...

Zeth: Not your fault.

Me: I know...hmm...let's see...do I have a short daydream that I wrote?

Evrem: What about that one with Carson in it? The bully from one of your RPGs, right?

Me: Yes that's who he is...but that one...I'm not going to share. It's a little depressing and dark because he as a pretty horrible past. But he is a rather interesting character actually...

Ren: I wouldn't want to meet him...

Jafen: He's definitely one of those people you don't want to meet in a dark alley...

Me: Yep, but deep deep down, he's actually not that bad...he just needs to find a better way to deal with his anger.

Ren: Totally...

Me: AH! Look at the clock! I have to go!

....

Sage: Ha! Told you no one was going to post an idea. I win.

Me: *grumbles, grumble*

Thallus: Oops...I was supposed to think up a punishment wasn't I? ...my bad.

Sage: Does that give me permission to think one up?

Me: No! Thallus say no!

Thallus: *thinking*

Ash: You could just make it simple and say that Silver owes Sage a favor.

Sage: Hmm... *smirks* I'm fine with that.

Me: I don't like that idea either!

Thallus: You talk, I'll think.

Me: O-ok...how am I supposed to talk about something when I'm worrying about what you're going to decide?!

Evrem: *whispers something in my ear*

Me: ... *smiles slightly* You do have a point...

Sage: ...what did he say?

Me: *ignores Sage* Ok! I haven't completely thought over what we're going to talk about, but then I just remembered I haven't told you readers about my newest story.

Sage: Oh great...

Me: I'm actually doing it for school and it doesn't really have an official title at the moment.

Sage: Can we talk about something else?

Me: *grins* Nope, this is my payback for you winning the contest.

Sage: *rolls eyes*

Ash: The reason Sage hates it so much is because the main character...well, it's his daughter.

Claythar: The entire thing takes place about seventeen years in the future but Silver also decided to make it in a parallel dimension because some things are a little different.

Me: Yep! I only have one chapter written so far but it's 3,152 words and that's only one chapter out of twelve. :D I should probably start thinking about what's going to happen in the second one.

Slade: So the basic story-line is rather depressing...but it's Silver so what do you expect? ;)

Me: Hey!

Ren: Sage's daughter's name is Jilara and she has a twin brother named Jayrin.

Sage: I'm leaving. *quickly leaves the room*

Me: *laughs* He's refused to read it.

Ash: I don't blame him.

Me: Anyways, in a very brief summery of what happens in first chapter of the story: Jayrin and Aerista disappear. This was when Jilara and Jayrin were both five, then there's a bit of a time jump to when Jilara is fifteen.

Ren: That's a rather large time jump...

Me: I guess you're right...

Ash: And at the end of the chapter, you meet Jilara's friend and they start walking to school.

Slade: Ta-da! And that's all that happens in 3,152 words.

Me: It was a lot of fun to write though.

Ren: What are you going to do with the next chapter?

Me: Well I have this outline I'm kind of following and there are these key points that have to happen so I believe she has to find a clue that leads her to where Aerista and Jayrin are.

Ash: Hmm...I just realized something; it takes them ten years to find a clue and considering Sage's skill, why wouldn't he have found it earlier? Knowing him, he'd be searching like crazy for a clue to where they went.

Me: Yeah, I'm still thinking that out, but the reason he didn't leave to go search for Jay and Aerista is because he had to protect Jilara. Plus, raising a five year old on your own isn't that easy...so I guess that's kind of my excuse...I might also have like the people that took Jayrin try to kidnap Jilara and she was able to see something that clued them to who took them or something...I'm just kind of brainstorming here.

Ren: This post isn't that long and it's already time to leave...

Me: Well that's because my computer wasn't opening the web page! It was rather annoying...

Thallus: Ok! I finally made up my mind.

Me: W-what is it?

Thallus: I think we're just going to go with the idea that you owe Sage a favor because I'm not feeling very creative.

Sage: I like that idea.

Me: Where you listening from the door the entire time?

Sage: No, only when you were brainstorming idea for the second chapter.

Thallus: And Sage, it's only one favor.

Sage: *thinks for a moment* So I can ask her to do anything I want.

Me: No, you can't!

Thallus: ...nothing too crazy, ok?

Sage: Fine, fine. And I can call it in anytime, right?

Thallus: Yes...

Me: We're never doing a contest like this again...

Thallus: Time to wrap it up, Silver.

Me: O-ok...

Thallus: Fine, I'll do it. Sorry about the rather short post today but we'll try to do better next week.

Me: Yeah, and thanks a lot for not posting an idea...

Thallus: Until next time!
